TRSC and Jordan, a new milestone
Warm thanks to the Swiss Jordanian Business Club in Amman for its invitation to introduce the Transnational Red Sea Center to a new audience of highly distinguished guests from the local business community.
The event hosted by H.E. Adnan Talhouni, chairman of the Club, took place at the King Hussein Club on March 7th in the presence of H.E. Emilja Georgeva, Ambassador of Switzerland to Jordan and Iraq, and H.E. Dr Khaled al-Irani, Chairman of the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature, as well as some fifty participants.
The TRSC was represented by Prof Anders Meibom, its director, and Samuel Gardaz, general coordinator.
The event was yet another example of the privilege relationship the TRSC has developed with Jordan over the years, and of the leading role the country is playing in promoting the conservation of the Red Sea corals at the scale of the whole region.
