TRSC invited to speak at GESDA Summit
Prof Anders Meibom, director of the Transnational Red Sea Center, will be one of the scientists, diplomats, impact leaders and citizens of the Geneva Science and Diplomacy Anticipator Foundation (GESDA) inaugural summit from 7 to 9 October in Geneva. Prof Meibom, head of the Laboratory for Biological Geochemistry at EPFL, will take part in a panel on oceans on Saturday 9th from 10:15 to 11:15am.
“At the inaugural GESDA Summit, scientists, diplomats, impact leaders (executives, investors, philanthropists, etc.) and citizens, will gather to drive reflective, inclusive discussions and sustainable collaborations, bringing anticipation-based science and diplomacy to the fore, in an effort to safeguard our collective welfare and make the most of where knowledge takes us”, organizers explain.
“About 300 representatives of those four communities will come together in Geneva and play a major role in the future of multilateral science and diplomacy governance.”
