Chapter 2 - Gearing up for diving
Getting ready for intense diving sessions in shallow and sometimes rough waters for the team of 16 from eight nationalities including colleagues from Djibouti and Sudan.
Chapter 3 - Underwater research
Carrying out scientific programs including 3D mapping, environmental DNA, genomics of marine landscapes, or microplastic and heavy metal pollution.
Chapter 4 - Onboard processing
Conditioning the samples collected during the dives for further treatment, processing and analysis in laboratory.
Chapter 5 - Sharing and inspiring
Back in Djibouti, meetings with the student community to share stories of the mission and inspire a new generation of marine scientists.
